Teaching
learn from the comfort of your own home, wherever you're based!
Both Phillip and Hannah are experienced music tutors: Hannah in violin; Phillip in harmonica, guitar, and slide guitar. They provide instrumental lessons from their home in Devon, but also both teach via Zoom, making their work accessible worldwide. Hannah specialises in folk and improvised styles, but with a background in classical technique. Phillip's deep knowledge of blues and contemporary harmonica and guitar styles informs his work, but he is able to teach a variety of approaches to each instrument, and will tailor your lessons to what you would like to learn.
workshops
Phillip is an experienced workshop leader, having held very popular courses at festivals such as Sidmouth Folk Week, Broadstairs Folk Week, and Gate to Southwell; as well having taught at the University of Plymouth and in various school settings. He can cover many different subjects, from a slide guitar masterclass, which introduces participants to his collection of unusual instruments from around the world; to introductory courses in bottleneck slide, harmonica and dobro. He offers regular online workshops to Edgelarks' community of bandcamp subscribers. Get in touch if you would be interested in booking a workshop or masterclass from Phillip, whatever the setting - email philliphenrybookings@hotmail.com

session work
Both Phillip and Hannah are experienced session musicians, and can enhance your recordings with their wide selection of instruments. They can produce top quality recordings from their home studio, meaning session work can easily be undertaken remotely, minimising costs.
Phillip has completed sessions for Show of Hands, Gilmore Roberts, Reg Meuross, Keith James, and Flook, amongst many others.
Hannah has provided vocal and fiddle work for artists including Show Of Hands, Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar, Chris Cleverley, and Jim Causley.
